Privacy at Salix Labs

This page covers every app made by Salix Labs LLC. Each app also has its own page below that lists exactly what that app collects, where it goes, and how to delete it. If an app page and this page differ, the app page is the one that applies to that app.

Who we are

We make apps for iOS and macOS that are a joy to use. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means Salix Labs LLC.

How our apps differ

Palabra and Vitamin Tracker have no third-party services, no accounts, no purchases, and no tracking. Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. We cannot see it.

App Blocker is different. It came to us from its previous developer with analytics, attribution, and subscription services built in, and it asks for permission to track. Its page names each service and what it does.

Service providers

When an app sends data to an outside company, that company is named on the app's page with what it gets and why. We share data only with the companies listed there. We require these providers to protect your data at least as well as this policy does.

We do not sell your personal information.

How to request deletion or ask a question

Email info@salixlabs.com. Tell us which app you use and what you want: a copy of your data, deletion, or an answer to a question. We will reply within 30 days.

Some data only lives on your device or in your own iCloud. We cannot reach it, so the app pages explain how you remove it yourself.

Children

None of our apps are made for children to use on their own, and none are in the App Store Kids category.

App Blocker has a parental control mode, so a parent may install it on a child's device. The App Blocker page explains what that app sends from the device and how a parent can limit it. If you believe we have personal information from a child under 13, email info@salixlabs.com and we will delete what we can locate.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top of this page and on the app page that changed. If a change adds a new kind of data or a new service provider, we update the page before the app version that uses it is released.
