Palabra: Spanish Word of the Day privacy policy

Summary

Palabra has no accounts, no purchases, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party services. What you do in the app is saved on your device and synced to your own iCloud account. We cannot see it.

What the app stores

• Your settings: Spanish level, definition language, country theme, uses per day, and whether you finished setup.
• Your daily log: the date, the word, whether you used it, how many times, and when.
• Your streak: current, longest, and last day used.

The word list is built into the app. The app makes no other network calls.

Where it goes

Your data is stored on your iPhone and in the private iCloud database on your own Apple account (Apple CloudKit). That database belongs to your Apple ID. Salix Labs cannot read it. Apple handles iCloud under Apple's privacy policy.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app still works and keeps your data on the device only. It syncs when iCloud becomes available.

Permissions

The app does not ask for any permissions. It can show a Live Activity on your Lock Screen, which you control in iOS Settings.

Third parties and tracking

None. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or attribution tools, and it does not show the tracking prompt.

Children

Palabra is an education app for general audiences and is not in the Kids category. It collects no information from anyone, including children, that reaches us.

How long data is kept and how to delete it

Your data stays until you remove it. The app has no delete button.

• Delete the app to remove data on the device.
• To remove the synced copy, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage (called Manage Account Storage on some iOS versions) > Palabra > Delete Data from iCloud. Deleting the app from your device doesn't remove its iCloud data.
